Ample Missiion’s Gender Activism Proved Unstoppable

At a recently concluded fashion week in Mumbai, Ample Missiion, a social organization helmed by Dr. Aneel Kashi Murarka and son Sidhaant Murarka, created history when models from the transgender community trailed down the ramp, a first-ever in the history of a leading fashion week! The showstoppers were none other than LGBTQ activist Laxmi Tripathi and Trans supermodel Navya Singh, ace fashion designer Archana Kochhar and philanthropist Dr. Aneel Kashi Murarka himself. Keeping their promise with the community for gender equality and inclusiveness, Ample Missiion proved their organization’s mettle curating this historic initiative. राष्ट्रपिता महात्मा गांधी के १५० वीं जयंती पर  डॉ.अनिल काशी मुरारका और उनकी टीम एम्पल मिशन ने गोरेगांव पूर्व में स्वच्छता अभियान चलाया। इस दौरान डॉ. अनिल काशी मुरारका ने कहा, “स्वच्छता के महत्व के बारे में जागरूकता बढ़ाने का यह एक शानदार अवसर था। एक बेहतर कल के लिए, हमें अपने शरीर, आत्मा और वातावरण को साफ करने की आवश्यकता है इसकि अहमियत दर्शाने के लिये हमारे महात्मा एक दीपस्तंभ है यह कहा  जाये तो गलत नही होगा।

The Confederation of Indian Industry or the CII, organized CII IWN’s 4th WomeNation summit recently. Titled #BeyondBoundaries, the summit was graced by revered thought leaders. Among the invitees to speak at this prestigious summit was Dr. Rekha Chaudhari.

Dr. Rekha Chaudhari is the Global Wellness Ambassador of India and a successful businesswoman as the Managing Director for OneLine Wellness. Her stint across borders garnered her a lot of fame and inspired women across the globe to be self-sufficient, independent and self-reliant. She avers, “I didn’t apprehend the spectacular feedback for my talk. I’d really like to thank CII for letting me tell my story. I hope women get inspired and do more!” adds she, “I have received a very encouraging feedback from the participants who were delighted with the topics and the quality of discussions.”

Divyanka Tripathi Dahiya in Cardiff International Film Festival Jury

Divyanka Tripathi Dahiya, who has lately been christened the Queen of Indian television, is also on a binge to set records. Marking her debut in the world of web series, Tripathi stars in Coldd Lassi Aur Chicken Masala, which has been holding the 1st position on the charts for a while now. She also became the first and only Indian actor jurying the Cardiff international Film Festival (CIFF) in 2019. Tripathi will also be a panellist in ‘Women In Films’ panel Chaired by Bethan Sayed. The other panellist include Hollywood actress Anna Lynne McCord And Oscar Nominated Film Maker Florence Aiyisi. Suhail Syed, International Director and facilitator for activities related to CIFF in India, confirmed Divyanka’s attendance.

Said an enthusiastic Divyanka Tripathi Dahiya, “I'm delighted becoming a jury member for the Cardiff International Film Festival specially because I'll get the privilege to watch cinema first hand from all across world. I'm expecting it to be an enriching experience, for me watching varied content and performances is going to be exciting!”

Apart from Divyanka Tripathi making her presence felt at the festival, actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui will be commemorated with the prestigious Golden Dragon Award in the presence of Bethan Sayed – Assembly Member and Chair of Culture and Media (Wales), Norman J, Florence Ayisi – Oscar-nominated Documentary Filmmaker, Warren – Legendary British Director, Keith Williams – Video Conceptual Artist, and Joe Ferrera – British Actor is the part of the Cardiff International Film Festival Jury for the year 2019.

Rahil Abbas, the founder of the festival, averred, “Wales as a nation extends a warm welcome to all the film makers attending Cardiff International Film Festival and invites film makers to explore Wales for the beauty and talent it offers.”

Cardiff International Film Festival will be held from October 24th, 2019 to October 27th, 2019 at the historic Pierhead Building in the heart of Cardiff Bay, Wales.
